Cancellation Policy

RELEASE AND WAIVER I understand that if I am taking medications or have any pre-existing medical conditions such as (but not being limited to those given below) that I must advise the facilitator before the session. Please indicate if you have any of the following: o History of Schizophrenia, psychosis, bipolar disorder, or unmanaged PTSD o Heart Conditions o History of aneurysm o High blood pressure unmanaged, or low blood pressure with fainting o Respiratory conditions including COPD, Asthma o Currently undergoing medical treatment for life threatening illnesses o Epilepsy or history of seizures o Glaucoma or history of detached retina o Significant Osteoporosis o Pregnancy o Uncontrolled thyroid conditions or uncontrolled diabetes o Recent significantly distressful life event including recent illness or surgery I understand and acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in a breath session, and I accept that I am responsible for any shift in state as a result of practicing the breath. This session: a) is not intended to replace any relationship I have with my medical doctor and/or primary health care provider(s) b) in the event of known medical conditions, I certify that I have consulted a health professional regarding any condition (physical, mental or emotional) that could interfere with my judgment or affect my health in any way during or after the session. c) is not intended to constitute any medical advice or any substitution for medical care If in-person, I understand that the breath session may include physical touch designed to support me in my journey, and that I have the right to refuse touch by using the word “Stop” or “No.”


How to Prepare for Your Session

What to know for your session:

  • Be in a comfortable, private space;

  • Have a yoga mat, bolster, and blocks if you have them. Couches work great too!

  • Wear loose clothing;

  • Have a blanket or sweater handy;

  • Wear headphones (the sound will be much better!);

  • Refrain from eating or eat only light food between 1-1.5 hours before the session;

  • Create some spaciousness for aftercare, at least an hour to integrate and be gentle with yourself.

This is a safe practice, but there are some contraindications. They are:

  • History of Schizophrenia, psychosis, bipolar disorder, or unmanaged PTSD
